Do you integrate with ECRIS?
Honestly: no, we do not integrate directly with ECRIS. We export an ICS calendar that you can combine manually with hearings from portal.just.ro. If you need automatic ECRIS sync, KeyVision is a mature tool for larger firms — Bits HUB is a better fit for the solo lawyer or small firm that wants modern CRM + invoicing.
Can I bill by the hour (time-billing)?
Yes, basic. Start a timer on the case, save entries with description and hourly rate, and we generate an aggregated invoice at month-end. Advanced utilization reports per lawyer are not in yet — on the 2026 roadmap.
How do you protect case confidentiality?
Granular per-case permissions: lead, associate, paralegal, observer. Data is in the EU (Frankfurt), encrypted at rest, with a visible access log. No Bits HUB admin can read the contents of your cases.
How do I invoice a variable success fee?
Set the fixed component (amount) and the variable component (% of recovered value) on the case. At issuance, fill in the recovered amount; the invoice computes the percentage and lands in SPV with clean line-by-line detail.
Does it work for a firm with multiple lawyers?
Yes, for firms of 1-5 lawyers. Each has their own calendar and cases, with sharing between lead and associate where needed. For firms larger than 10-15 lawyers, KeyVision is still a better fit.
Can I import cases from KeyVision?
Yes, via CSV/Excel export from KeyVision (clients, cases, hearings). We help with the mapping, free, regardless of plan. Scanned documents are uploaded into the Bits HUB Drive afterwards.
