How do you handle medical data under GDPR?
Data stays in the EU (Frankfurt), encrypted at rest and in transit. You are the controller, we are the processor — we sign a standard DPA. Patients can request export or deletion via a form on your public page.
Does it work for practices with multiple doctors?
Yes. Each doctor has their own schedule and charts. The assistant sees a shared agenda and books where needed. Roles (doctor, assistant, reception) with configurable permissions.
Do you integrate with the Romanian health insurance house (CNAS)?
No, not yet. Bits HUB is built for private practice with direct payment or subscription — not for CNAS-reimbursed services. If you work mixed, you use Bits HUB for the private side and the CNAS app for the rest.
Can I import patients from MedSoft or Excel?
Yes. CSV import takes a minute and accepts the standard columns (name, CNP, phone, email, history). For MedSoft migrations we help you with the mapping, free, regardless of plan.
Can patients pay for the consultation online?
Yes, via Stripe. Set the booking page to require prepayment for new patients or for those with a no-show history. Funds go straight to your account, Bits HUB takes no cut.
What happens to a patient chart if they stop coming?
It stays archived for the legal retention period (minimum 5 years, gynecology 30, pediatrics until age 21). You set the policy by practice type and we apply it automatically.
